Chris Sumner heads up business development & strategy at Refinery29, the leading digital media & entertainment company dedicated to helping women feel, see, and claim their power. Prior to that he led Live Nation's award-winning creative agency & production studio, Greenlight and oversaw Live Nation's original content venture with Vice Media – Live Nation TV – and helped to build Live Nation's film and TV business, structuring deals for recent hits including Puff Daddy's 'Can't Stop, Won't Stop' and Lady Gaga's 'Five Foot Two'. He's also held a variety of senior corporate and business development roles at Sony Music, EMI Music, and The Chernin Group, starting out his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Chris holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and an MA from Oxford University. He's an avid skier, squash and rugby player, and lives in Venice, CA with his wife and young dog, Churro.
